Construction Projects: Views
Oct 1, 2026 · @Randall Murphy
Construction Projects in Pool Builder Geek has seven views of the same jobs. Open Construction > Projects, then switch views with the view buttons at the top right of the page.
The views at a glance
The view buttons run left to right in this order:

| View | Best for |
| Timeline | Seeing every job and its phases, whiteboard-style |
| Calendar | Scheduling and rescheduling phases by drag and drop |
| Scheduler | Working through phases that still need a date |
| Quick Scheduler | Setting phase dates across many jobs in one grid |
| Images | Reviewing photos uploaded to each job |
| Map Cluster | Seeing where jobs are and opening them from the map |
| List | Finding, exporting or deleting projects |
Timeline View
The Timeline view is the default view. It works like a digital version of the shop whiteboard.

What you’ll see: Each row is one job, showing the customer name, address, how long the job has been running, the project number and a colored project status dot. To the right is a row of phase cards from the job’s template, such as Permitting, Stakeout, Excavation and Rebar. Each card shows the phase name, who it’s assigned to, the scheduled date and a status dot. A green dot means the phase is completed. Scroll right to see more phases.
What you can do:
- Click a phase card to open the Edit Phase window (see the last section).
- Use the Phase Status pills to narrow phases: Active (the default), All (includes completed), Not Started, In Progress, Completed, Stopped, Past Due, Unassigned and Unscheduled, plus the Starts and Ends date filters.
- Click a project’s status dot to change its status, for example to In Progress.
- Click the customer name to open the Edit Construction Project window.
Calendar View
The Calendar view shows scheduled phases on a calendar and lets you schedule them by dragging.

What you’ll see: The left panel lists all jobs under All Projects. The calendar shows each scheduled phase as a colored bar labeled with the phase and customer name, with daily weather on each day. Use Month, Week and Day to change the layout, and Today or the arrows to move between dates.
Scheduling phases:
- Check the box next to a job to show only that job. Its phases appear under it in the left panel.
- Drag an unscheduled phase onto a day. A Phase Scheduled confirmation appears.
- Drag a phase bar to a new day to reschedule it.
- If your template has phase dependencies, you’ll be asked whether to update the dependent phases too.
- Click a phase bar to open the Edit Phase window.
Uncheck the job to see all jobs again.
Scheduler View
The Scheduler view groups phases that still need a date into lanes, so you can work through scheduling quickly.

What you’ll see: Each column is a phase lane, such as Permitting, Pool Equipment Order or Stakeout, with a count of jobs in it. Each row is a scheduling status: Today / Tomorrow, OK to Schedule and Unscheduled. Each card shows the job name, project number, address and assignee.
Scheduling from the board: One person can flag what’s ready while another sets the dates.
- Move a card to OK to Schedule when the phase is ready. The card notes who requested it and when.
- Set the date with the card’s Today, Tomorrow or Custom links. Custom opens a date picker.
- Keep going until every phase has a date.
View-specific filters: Status Rows toggles (OK to Schedule, Unscheduled, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed) control which rows show. Phase Names pills narrow the board to one phase; click All to bring every lane back.
Quick Scheduler View
The Quick Scheduler is a spreadsheet-style grid for setting phase dates across many jobs at once.

What you’ll see: Each row is a job (project number and name). Each column is a phase. Each cell holds that phase’s scheduled date, or a dash if none is set. Cell colors show status: green for Completed, orange for In Progress and red for Stopped.
What you can do:
- Click a phase cell and pick a date to schedule it.
- Mark phases complete directly from the grid.
- Click the project name to open and edit the job.
Images View
The Images view shows every photo uploaded to each job in one place.

What you’ll see: Each row is a job, with its name, address and project number on the left and a strip of photo thumbnails on the right. Jobs with no photos show No images.
What you can do: Click a thumbnail to open it full size, then scroll left and right through the job’s photos. If your crews upload daily snapshots, this is a fast way to check progress on every job without opening each one.
Map Cluster View
The Map Cluster view plots your jobs on a map so you can see where work is happening.

What you’ll see: The left panel lists jobs under All Projects. The map shows a pin at each job’s address, and nearby jobs group into clusters when you’re zoomed out.
What you can do:
- Zoom in with the scroll wheel or the + and – buttons to break clusters into pins.
- Click a pin to see which job is there.
- Click the job to open it.
Filter by contractor, for example, to see where that contractor’s jobs are.
List View
The List view (also called the Table view) shows all projects in a simple table.

What you’ll see: Columns for Name, Number, Template, Address, Status and Actions.
What you can do:
- Click a project name to open the job in its own tab at the top of the page.
- Click the three dots in the Actions column to choose Open in Tab, Edit or Delete.
- Click Export at the top right to download a list of all projects.
